Real Sociedad's battling 10 men come up short in Salzburg

Postby Son sovan » Fri Feb 23, 2018 7:24 am

Having conceded a last minute goal to draw 2-2 in the first leg of their Europa League tie against RB Salzburg, Real Sociedad knew they had it all to do in Austria. บอล ส เต็ ป They battled hard and came close to forcing extra time, but were ultimately knocked out by losing 2-1 on the night. บอล ส เต็ ป It was the Austrian side who stuck first, with Munas Dabbur scoring in the 10th minute, just moments after Mikel Oyarzabal had headed off the crossbar at the other end. La Real equalised just before the half-hour mark, though, with Raul Navas directing a header from a corner perfectly into the top corner. That made it 3-3 on aggregate and the Basque side were still heading out on away goals, so they pushed and pushed for another. But with 20 minutes to go Real Sociedad were dealt a triple blow, as Raul Navas was sent off for a second yellow, as Salzburg won a penalty and as Geronimo Rulli injured himself in his unsuccessful attempt to save Valon Berisha's attempt. One more goal would have forced an extra half an hour, but Salzburg defended well and held on.
