EZ GUI 1.053 is now available! If you use SM2 as well, be sure to update to the latest version (1.81) of that as well.

As always, be sure to see the items marked "IMPORTANT" in the release notes. In addition to many new features and lots of changes and fixes, there are two important things to note in this update:

1) The folder structure has been changed somewhat. So before importing the latest version, see the "IMPORTANT NOTE" on the update page and download and run the script linked there. It will automatically prepare your project folder for the new folder structure. Note that only A&B Software files and folders will be altered. But as always, it is prudent to backup your project before making any changes of this sort.

2) All menu items have been moved from "Custom" to "Tools->A&B Software". So for example, to rebuild your atlases, instead of clicking Custom->Build Atlases, you will click Tools->A&B Software->Build Atlases. This change was made in an attempt to conform to standards emerging in the ever-growing ecosphere of Unity add-ons.

As always, the update is available here: http://www.anbsoft.com/updates

EZ GUI 1.054 has been released at the updates page. This is a quick follow-up to 1.053 that addresses several more issues. Please see the release notes for all the details. If using EZ GUI and SM2 together, this release corresponds to SM2 version 1.82.

Enjoy!

EZ GUI 1.056 is now out! It features many fixes and improvements, as well as several new features. The most exciting of which is the new EZScreenPlacement component which lets you position your objects in a resolution- and aspect ratio-independent way. Support for object-relative placement has also been added.

Note that this component works on non-EZ GUI objects as well, and replaces the similar settings that were previously part of the sprite and SpriteText classes themselves during the experimental phase. Apologies in advance for any settings that will have to be re-done since these settings have been moved into a separate component. But as advertised, the previous settings were experimental and likely to change, and indeed they did.

If using SM2 with EZ GUI, use SM2 version 1.84, also released today.

EZ GUI 1.06 beta is now available on the updates page. This beta version includes, among other things, two major new features: drag-and-drop support, and snapping scroll lists. Your testing of these two is much appreciated. Please see the two threads linked below for information on how to use and test these features. Please post questions, etc, related to these features in these threads:

Scroll list snapping:

An updated beta of EZ GUI 1.06 (beta 19) is now available on the updates page. If you are also using SM2, make sure to grab the latest update of that as well to make sure the two versions are in sync.

EZ GUI 1.06 beta 22 is now available. In this iteration, two new features have been introduced that you can now test out at length (see the links for threads describing each):

Virtual Screens
"Over" and "Active" states for radio and toggle buttons

If using SM2 with EZ GUI, make sure to also pick up the latest SM2 beta as well. Both can be obtained from the Updates page:

Enjoy!

EZ GUI 1.06 beta 23 is now available. This version features lots of tweaks and fixes over the previous version, as well as some more optimized shaders that could use some testing out (see the "Vertex Colored, Fast" shader). This should be significantly faster on mobile devices.

As always, you'll probably want to grab the latest matching SM2 beta as well if you are using these two together in your project.
